The Last 2 months......

So I totally suck at Blogging:) Being Prego and Summertime and no Air conditioning and Busy Busy are just some of my excuses:)
But here is a random update of July and August......
Steve and I were on the committee for The Pioneer Trek, and tell me you don't pee your pants laughing at us! I have to admit, the pregnant belly makes it over the top. I mean, I am a legit polyg! haha. Steve said his ancestors would be proud!:) But seriously a cool experience. They actually built a replica of the St. George Temple! Pretty Awesome.
I absolutely love when my boys hold hands! Haha it just melts my heart. Two little buddies, just playin away at the splash pad. I can't wait for there to be a 3rd little dude:)
A couple pics of Jettbug in his Sunday best:) He has got to be the cutest kid i've ever seen!
Hudson did swim lessons this summer, and has turned into quite the little fishy! I was such a proud mama watching him! And of course a couple pics of the First day of school!! Hudson could hardly wait! which i am sure that will change once he's a little older, but I'm sure glad he likes it now!:)
And then...... Our Trip to Sun Valley!! Soo much fun to hang out with my whole Family! We got completely spoiled and got to stay in a huge house all together, (thanks to aunt lees, and courtesy the Holdings) It was actually the House an episode of the Bachlorette was filmed:) So fun! I love being all together! And it so fun to see our kids play together!! I love that Hudson and Jett have cousins so close in age. Hudson and Peyton were inseparable, the picture of them walking together up the hill was one of my favs:)
And then of course there is my prego belly:) 30 weeks and counting!! its been a hot Summer, and I am ready for it to cool down and get this little Bambino safely here!!:)

Disney World!!!!

We had the most Fabulous time at Disney!! We seriously saw everything! And had so much fun with the Fam! Thanks Mont and Lis for treating us to such a fun vacay!! Hudson was at the best age! He rode all the rides!! He was most excited when he was tall enough for Splash Mountain!! I have never had more fun than watching him! He is so brave! It is so Bitter/Sweet to have Steve's Parents leave to be Mission Presidents for 3 years:( But we are glad we got to make such amazing memories on this trip! It will def last us, till we see them again!!:) Love You Monte and Lisa!!!!!!! xoxoxox!

Romantic Rendezvous....

So we did something a little Crazy! but so Romantic.......
We decided that because it was our 5 year anniversary this year and both of us are turning 30!! (ah)! We would do something we have always wanted to do! We had earned it! And we owed to it ourselves and our relationship. So... we jumped the Pond, and went to London, England. And Paris, France.
It was the single most Amazing trip of my Life! We saw sooo much Breathtaking Architecture. The cities are so extravagant, and detailed. I had been to both cities, once before. But I completely fell in love with them this time.... Not to mention falling in Love with Steve all over again:) Mushy, I know. But Totally true. We did everything! I surprised Steve and got us Amazing tickets to a Soccer game! He spoiled me and took me to Wicked the Musical! my Fav! We ate DELICIOUS food! I have never tasted such incredible macaroons. There was a little bakery around the corner from our hotel in Paris, TO DIE FOR. probably gained 10 lbs:) We went to Louvre, and stood in awe of all the incredible art.
We had time to ourselves for once! We walked along the river and saw Paris all lit up at night. It was Perfect in every way! I must admit I missed my kids like a crazy lady! I had seperation anxiety:( But I knew they were in great hands! My mom and Steve's mom had it covered. They are the best Grandma's EVER!

Inspired....

It's been hard for me to post lately..... I have to be inspired.
What inspires me??
The definition of inspired:

My Steven Inspires me with his ability to capture moments on film. He takes some of the most beautiful photos, without even thinking. I love to look at the world through his eyes...

Culture inspires me. I love to learn about different cultures around the world. I want to travel everywhere! I want to taste everything, I wish i could speak another language.... Have to put those on my bucket list.

My babies inspire me. They are so innocent and perfect.

Music of course inspires me. I love to listen to music while cooking, I like to think it will help me be more inventive, and somehow i will become an Amazing Cook!

Words inspire me. I love to read. I love to write poetry. I love to sing. I love people who speak eloquently.

Faith inspires me. I love reading about other peoples faith. Somehow we are all connected, if we believe in something.

My goal this week is to look for oppertunities to be inspired.....

My baby boy is not so little anymore!
Jett turned 1 on Nov 23.... We had his Bday Party Up North at Aunt Andre's House! She was soooo nice to host it and She helped me make the cutest little cake! Thanks wannie:)
My Jettbug is as sweet as they come. He lights up my whole world. It has been one of the best years of our lives, watching this little angel grow. Happy BIRTHDAY! Hope you know how much we love you!

SO Here is my Halloweenie Post:) We had a great time! The Halloween weekend seemed to last REALLY Long tho! We have sooooo Much Candy:) And I am the only one eating it:) UH OH!
Our Party Was a success, and We are so thankful to have such wonderful, fun, and halarious family and friends to Party with!!
The only pics that are missing are my sweet little cowboy Hudson. They are on my other camera! so I will post those later!

Time! Time to wake up, Time to eat, Time to go, Time to work, Time to play, Time to sleep, Time to blog, Time to cook, TIme to do Laundry, Time to teach, Time to plan, TIme to get ready, TIme to CLEAN, Time to see, Time to listen.......Time Time TIme! There's never Enough Time! My Days are full of stuff to do, I am busy with things I have created for myself! But at the end of the day I find myself wondering.... Did I spend enough time with my boys doing NOTHING? Just sitting there snuggling them, and making sure they know how much I cherish these precious stages. I need to make more TIME for that! Because all too soon my time will be up! So I vow to spend more Time doing NOTHING! :)

But I recently read a book that has inspired me to think and act different!!
I should say with complete confidence!!! “I am a Mother!”

Seriously. I love that we can feel empowered as women to be mothers. We are building society as we know it. And we need to help build each other up. That’s one of the reasons i Love Blogging:) We are just a big huge support network for each other. I have had some of the hardest days of my life being a Mother. And it is so comforting to know that i can hop on the internet and find that all of you are right there in my shoes. Cleaning up poopy smears, and trying to find healthy snacks, and figuring out schedules that work, And loving these little monsters so much it hurts.

Those are fighting words! They make my job feel important, and worthy. Contrary to what the world might portray.
Some times I feel a bit inadequate reading all yalls Blogs and Posts. But I am doing the best I can! I love being a Mother, more than I have loved anything I’ve ever been- But It’s harder and more challenging than anything I have ever experienced. I often find myself on my knees at night thanking Heavenly Father that this day is over, and asking for the strength to do it all over tomorrow. But my reward is when both of my boys are cuddled up next to me while I sing “ you are my sunshine” and they drift off to dreamland. Priceless. I am soo blessed.

So next time someone asks you “What do you do?” Shout “I am a Mother!”

And yes I recommend “I am a Mother” by Jane Clayson Johnson to all you mommies out there to get inspired.....:)

8 Months

I can't believe how fast my baby is growing! I feel like i need to push pause and just enjoy each stage a little longer!
I can't get enough of this bug... Ooh i just love his kisses and squeezes!
* Jett is such a momma's boy, he reaches for me now- and makes his daddy mad!
* He army crawls with his head... it is so funny to watch. But he gets little rug burns on his forehead from pushing so hard.
* He is still nursing about 3 to 4 times a day, but likes his bottle too and holds it by himself which is wonderful!
* He still likes baby food mostly just fruit though, he is getting better at eating with his hands.
* He is soo smiley and happy, everyone comments on what a sweet happy baby he is.
* He is taking such good naps lately! and has really started liking his bed, he likes to just lay in there and talk.
* His legs are strong, and he can stand while holding on to something all by himself!
* He has two bottom teeth, and bites me! makes me so mad!!
* He Loves Loves Loves his brother! Anything Hudson does he wants to be a part of! When Hudson walks in the room Jett screeches for joy!
*He snuggles on my shoulder, my favorite part of life so far:)
*He adores his daddy, and loves playtime with brother and Dad!
If i could clone him, and have one more just like him- i would!!
It seriously makes me feel like I can handle a couple more If there was a guarantee they would be like Jett.

on a side note: We went to see toy story 3 and i balled my eyes out, Thinking my boys will someday grow up. And I will have to give all their toys away! I dread that day. I honestly can't think about it. I love this stage of life, and Selfishly want to prolong it as long as possible.... Any other moms with me on this?

The Tall Tales of Hudson Steven...

Meet Hudson Steven Holm, the kid with the most creative, vivid imagination ever. I love to listen to his stories all day long. And I am Talking ALL DAY LONG. This child can talk.... hmmmmm I wonder where he gets that from? We know it's not from his father:)
But lately i have been sad, thinking this stage will pass soon. And i haven't really written a lot of the funny things he says down. So i am going to try to keep up on the Tall Tales of this precious little boy, so that i can always have them to make me smile....

Story #1: Me: Hud what are you doing in there? Who are you talking to? Hudson: Oh mom, I am just talking to Rowber. He is my friend he came to play!
(Rowber is Huddy's Imaginary friend, he came to play about six months ago. And he never leaves:)
Me: Oh good, do you want some lunch? Hudson: no I don't, but Rowber wants some chocolate chips. They make him strong like a super hero!
(Rowber only eats candy and smoothies, what hudson wishes his diet consisted of)
meanwhile Jett starts to cry....
Hudson: mom! Jettbug is crying! Go fix him..... And fix Rowber's baby brother too!
Me: Rowber has a baby brother too? what is his name?
Hudson: ummm... His baby's name is ......Yogurt. Baby Yogurt! and he is cryin! And you need to call his mommy and daddy to feed him!
Me: OK what is his Mommy and Daddy's name, so i can call them?
Hudson: (not even a pause this time) His mommy's name is Doodle, and his daddy's name is Tuck ok! Just call them!

Story#2:
( i walk in to hudson talking on my old phone, that i gave him to play with)
Hudson: Mommy! Oh good I need your help!
Me: Ok What?
Hudson: Can you please help me Taxt all my friends, and invite them to Rowber's Party?
Me: Oh, you mean Text Message?
Hudson; Yes Taxt message Mom!
Me: Ok, well who you are you inviting to this party?
Hudson: We need to Taxt Chuck, and Jake, and Doug and Deek, and one more........ ummm Toad! Ok mom, taxt all those guys and tell them to come to Rowbers Party! Because there is gonna be a big Cake! And Everyone needs to bring Rowber a present! Tell them to bring him a SPECIAL Surprise! (in a whispery voice)

I get about ten of these stories a day... Oh how I love my little man:)

I liked this quote, and thought it Perfectly described these two Besties:) Literally because I forget words all the time:) and a little deeper then that too. Sometimes I feel like I can't remember what I was like before the kids and Husband, and House duties and bills.... and you know the rest:) I literally feel like it was a different person living a life on another planet. So going to spend some "selfish" Girl Time was a breath of fresh air! I recommend it to every mommy out there:) It was so nice to just hang, and talk, and get in touch with that other Human I used to be:) Even though the stuff we talk about now is entirely different then the stuff we talked about back then, But that's what makes best Friends so AmaZInG! We can Relate and sympathize and Analyze, no matter What stages we are at in Life...
So thanks Girls for making our little 3 day Vacay Happen! I am truly Blessed to have you guys in my life. I love you with all my heart, and am so glad that you two can remind me of the girl I used to be, and help me with the Girl/mommy/wife that I am now.

I am such a sucker for these two! I absolutely love watching them play and grow together this summer. I need to write down a few milestones Jett has had the past month.
-He has two teeth! ouch!
-He sits up by himself
-He gets up and his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. (he is soo close to crawling)!
- He giggles and talks all day long!
- He is sleeping thru the night!!! WOO HOO!
-He loves his Brother!
-And He loves to be Snuggled by mama
- He is soo sweet and such a good baby!

I have always lived by at least one of my sisters. And for the first time in my life I am alone! I hate it! I miss these girls more than they could imagine! I just wanted to tell them that they are my best friends. They can make me laugh like no body's business. We have so many fun memories together! And it so fun seeing our kids make memories together now. But I count down the minutes until I am with my sissies:) Nobody understands you better than a sister. No one forgives you quicker. No one makes you laugh harder. No one will ever compare to your sisters:) I am a lucky girl to have two:) I love you sissy poos.....

5 MoNtHs! I absolutely love this age... (but i always say that at every stage). Jett is so much fun right now. He smiles when I walk in the room. He plays with toys. He rolls over. He loves to be entertained by his big brother:) He blows bubbles and makes the cutest cooing sounds. He is really ticklish, and giggles so hard when you squeeze his legs. He is constantly hungry.... and I mean CoNStAnTly!! Must be a growth spurt! He loves to snuggle. He loves his daddy to tease him. He is close to being able to sit up. HE LOVES rice cereal. Which is funny because Hud hated it! He still doesn't sleep all the way thru the night. I don't know what it is with all you mom's that are like " my two month old sleeps 12 hours a night" blah blah blah is what i say to you! How would it be to sleep thru the night!! I cannot remember! But Overall He is an Angel. The spirit he brings to our Family is soooo Sweet!! We love you Jett Bug!

We have had so much fun in the last month! I obviously have not had time to blog about it! So here it all is.....

My 25th birthday:) hahaha ok 29th!

My students singing at the Arts Festival! I love to see my cute girls get up and perform. Most of them have been with me for a few years and it's so fun to see how much they grow and get better!

San Diego! Monte and Lisa took us on a Couples Retreat! Hudson stayed with my mom.... So me and Steve could have some alone time sort of:) We of course had to bring Jett because he is still nursing:) But we had a great time! We ate lots of good food and shopped till we dropped...despite the complaints from the boys:) Thanks Monte and Lis!

My Soccer Star! Hud started Soccer! He was soo Amazing, just like his daddy! It is so much fun watching him grow into such a fun little stud!

A few things about Jett....

He is 8 weeks:)

He loves to take baths

He loves his big brother, everytime Hudson talks to him he smiles:)

I think he is a daddy's boy! He is sooo content when he is with steve.

He is smiling now! So sweet.... can't get enough.

He is easy to please.

He was a good sleeper, but now he is a hungry sleeper.

At his one month check-up he weighed 10 lbs 1 oz. Chubby!

He loves to be on his tummy! ( complete opposite of hud)

So many things to be thankful for...

1. Of course this handsome little guy:)

2. delivery went soooo smooth- start to finish 6 hrs.

3. Not even a stitch was needed.

4. Nurses were incredible!( Thanks Melanie R. your the best!)

5. Home in 24 hrs in my own bed.

6-Huddy wuvs him! (and is very protective)

7-Jett sleeps a lot.... So i can catch up!

8-My mommy/nanny is here! she is spoiling all of us with yummy food and TLC.

9-A husband who is amazing, supportive, and the best daddy.

10-Lots of family and friends who are so willing to help and love us.

39 Weeks.....

So..... I was hoping to go into labor on my own, But I decided I am not going to refuse some Help speeding the process along. I was supposed to get induced on Friday-But Because I don't have a medical emergency on my hands I have been bumped to Monday:) (TOMORROW). So Tomorrow is the day! I can't wait to meet my little Baby Jett. Just hope everything goes smooth so I can be out of the hospital by Thanksgiving! I can honestly say I have never been more thankful on Thanksgiving in my Life! I get to add a new babe to my little Fam. I am healthy, happy, loved. What more could a girl ask for....

38 weeks!!

So.... I am not good at pregnancy postings. But I am almost there!!! Yay! I can't wait for my little guy to get here! I feel ready, and completely unprepared all at the same time. Hudson is throwing the WORST tantrums lately, and I swear he senses that the world as he knows it, is about to CHANGE big time! I had so much fun with my sister being here for a week, helping me get ready! Thanks Wannie:) I love you and Cashy so much! My Belly is beyond big. People point and stare. I have had several people ask me if i am having twins:) Steve is answering his phone EVERYTIME i call. Haha. I kind of like it:) Hopefully the strippin of the membranes will put me over the edge! So I have wanted this certain Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag... Out of my budget of course:)

Potty Training!! So i have been taking it slow, but Hud is doing sooo great!! I am so proud of him in his big boy Diego Underwear! He wears them at home and does good. I haven't attempted to let him wear them out of the house yet:) But hopefully soon!
Over this past weekend I had Cort's kids and we went to the fair!! I told steve this was a test on how many kids we could handle:) We had a blast and made it through the night so we might not stop at two kids, three? four? who knows:)

Plus my hubby is extra hot pushing that extra longgg stroller!!
And of course We are sooooo Excited that Eliza Lynn King has finally arrived! She is too precious for words! And not to mention her mommy who looks AMAZING for just having her!

So i can't believe how much better i feel this pregnancy!! I haven't thrown up in at least a month, and I crave things, and I actually like food! My last pregnancy I never EVER felt like eating and i threw up most of it anyway. I was sick for 30 + weeks so I am feeling great about where I am at! Of course I am still tired all the time, and I can't sleep at all. But still, this time around a much better experience. So I have to share what My doctor said last week!! I was in for just a routine check up, but the office was full so he put me in the ultrasound room. To my surprise I got an unexpected ultrasound! But he asked me "Now what did i say you are having?" I said "a boy!" And he continued to say "Well how sure was I?" ...."WHAT!!!" "I don't know, Your the doctor!!" SO after fishing around for awhile he comes to the conclusion that he thinks i am having a girl! But he wouldn't say for sure because the baby was in a weird position. So he says let's wait until your next appt. and we will confirm! So at this point I am freaking out! I don't have pink! ZERO PINK! and I need to start planning PRONTO, if that's the case. And i wasn't about to wait 4 more weeks to find out! SO... I scheduled a 3D ultrasound right away to figure this out once and for all. And after all that... I found that i was still having a boy! Which I am still excited about! But why did my doc have to go and get me all riled up for?! Moral of the story, With all this fancy technology, Nothing is 100%. So I am just gonna plan on blue and if I end up needing pink, I am gonna get to do one fast and impulsive shopping spree:)

Holy cow! this pregnancy is flying by! Mostly because I have a rambunctious 2 year old to keep me busy 24/7. I am not sick as often, which is great! I am still tired all the time, and i feel like even when I am sleeping I am not getting well rested:) Oh well, that's just the name of the game! Speaking of Names, Steve and I cannot agree on a name if our life depended on it :) I have names I like, but he of course has no suggestions! Not Fair! I am getting super excited about our new addition tho, He is kicking me like crazy! I can't believe I will be out numbered 3 to 1! But I couldn"t be in love more with my 3 boys:) If the next 15 weeks go as fast as the first 24, He will be here before I know it!!

Dominican Republic!

So I haven't posted in like forever:) But I had to make time to post our amazing Vacation to the DR! We decided not to take Hudson, so we could relax, have lots of lovey dovey time, and just reconnect before baby #2 arrives:) It was Incredible! But we missed our little buddy soooo much!!

I couldn't figure how to get this to rotate:) SOrry:) But WE went snorkeling, and we swam with sharks!! IT was sooo Fun!

It was so nice to have a Romantic Getaway:)

We totally lucked out and got upgraded to First Class!! WOO HOO!

The Sand was like cotton! So soft and white, SO BEAUTIFUL!

So I am 12 weeks. And i feel like the sickness is getting worse! Is that how it works? I thought i would be past this part! I am throwing up more regularly. And sooooooooo stinking tired! I feel so much better when i read other prego blogs, and they say their house is messy and they lay on the couch and try to muster up some energy to wash their hair:) I am thinkin i need more zofran:) Anyway i did get an ultrasound, and it made me cry to see two arms and two little legs kickin away in there!!! SO amazing!

The Word is out, and we couldn't be more Excited!! We are Expecting a new baby! I am 10 Weeks, and am Due in Nov. I can't wait to find out what I am having! I have been sick, but not as sick as i was with Hudson. So that's the good news:) I go to the doc tomorrow to hear the heartbeat:) That will make me feel much better. It doesn't feel real until you hear the heartbeat!

My hubby and I have been married for 3 years today! And have been best buds for much much longer:) He is the person who understands me, supports me, deals with me, loves me, pushes me, snuggles me, encourages me, teases me, misses me, and is always there for me! He makes me feel beautiful, even when I feel far from it. He makes me laugh at those times when I am so mad and taking life way too serious! He dreams with me, and plans crazy adventures we both hope to go on someday . He writes me love letters, and leaves cute notes on my mirror. He takes care of me in every possible way. So it's been a crazy last couple of months... It was Steve's 28th Birthday, Hudson's 2nd Birthday, and My 28th birthday all in about 30 days! We of course love to party so we had lots of cake! For spring Break, Hudson and I went to Disneyland. Which was so much more fun now that i have a kid to enjoy it with! So i have gone over and over this in my head and had many arguments with my cousin Sam, and my Brothers, and my Husband etc. etc...

The Question: Why are we all obsessed with Edward?

My Theory: Well i think they are obvious reasons :

1. He is supposedly the most beautiful man that ever existed. (Of course because it is a book, we all get to dream up our own version of beautiful. Thus making it much more fun to visualize:)

2. He is dangerous. (Let's face it. We all had our bad boy phase, Either past or present. There is something so enticing about someone that is all wrong for you.)

3.He is a hopeless romantic. ( Since the time we could talk and walk, we would all dress up like some damsel in distress {a.k.a. Princess} and hope for True love. It's been bred into us. We think life is not complete unless our Prince Charming has come to rescue us.)

4.He is a superhero. ( Who doesn't want an intensely beautiful, superhuman, badboy, lovesick, male at their beckon call? Admit it. You want at least one of the things metioned.:)

So we could lie, and say we don't like this silly teenage, angst driven book. Or we can embrace it full on. And give in to our adolescent craving:)

The Point: This book is not for Guys. Period. Nothing about this book is appealing to a Man. Especially a man in your life. So we should all go to Twilight this weekend, with our girlies... And play it down to our men. Edward isn't that big of a deal, Honey:) He's got nothing on you Babe. Believe me, it's what they all want to hear.

So I talked steve into going to the Justin Timberlake concert with me!! I know I know, HOw you ASk? I am not sure. I think the part about me and him alone for a whole night in vegas sealed the deal:) haha. But he was such a good sport! he danced and rocked out with me all night long! As you can see this pic was taken before the concert started. So at this point he was still skeptical. But after it got going he loved it!! haha.

The thing that was so awesome is that it was a charity event, so a bunch of different artists were there to support the cause.

The jonas brothers, we didn't know their songs but they were cute:)

Boys 2 Men! totally brought us back to 8th grade! we knew all their songs:)

Ok so i don't want to get all cheesy on you, but I have to tell you how Incredible my Husband has been thru all of this. He is soo supportive. There is no way I would have been able to do the show without his full support. He has gone above and beyond on daddy duty:) not to mention eating a lot of fast food since i am not home in the evenings to cook:) But he has never complained once! He is so encouraging, and helpful. He completely understands that having a creative outlet makes me a better mom, a better wife, and a happier person. I feel so fortunate to have him by my side! Les Mis is coming to end........ this past weekend was the last time i got to play Eponine. It was so much fun! Everyone in the cast is so Amazingly talented! I can't believe i got to play that role. I have sang that song since i was 10 years old. And getting to perform in front of a sold out audience with the most talented actors around was a dream come true!!

My aunt Heidi gave me my first lesson when i was 6 years old. She has always been my idol. She is SOO Amazing! And I feel so lucky that i got to perform with her!!
